RESERVATION

How do I book my stay?

You can book your stay directly on our website, by email at hello@pilolyon.com or by phone at 04 28 01 86 00.

What are the cancellation conditions?

When making your reservation, please read the terms and conditions carefully. The policy may vary depending on the rate booked and the site you book on.

Can I extend my stay?

You can contact us by phone or email at hello@pilolyon.fr for any extension request. If you wish to extend your stay, please come and see us directly at the reception.

At what time can I check-in and check-out?

The check-in is from 3pm and the check-out until 11am (We like sleeping in at Pilo!)

What happens if I arrive late at night?

The reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Is it possible to check out after 11am?

It is possible to keep your room (only in private rooms) for a longer period of time on request, with an extra charge and depending on availability. For more information, please contact the reception the day before or the morning of your departure.

I have not received a confirmation, what should I do?

Please feel free to contact us by email or phone, so we can confirm your reservation. If it is the day of your arrival, your ID will allow us to find you 😊

What payment methods are accepted?

Credit cards, cash and vacation vouchers are accepted. In case of payment by cash or vacation vouchers, a bank card will be required to guarantee your reservation.

Do I have to pay a tourist tax?

The tourist tax is to be paid on the day of your arrival. In Lyon, it is 0,83€ per night and per person.

How to make a group reservation?

For any group request, please send an email to hello@pilolyon.com, with the desired dates and the number of people, we will answer you as soon as possible.

How long can I stay at the hotel?

Reservations are limited to 8 nights, however you can always extend your stay with us :)

Can I come to the hotel with my dog/cat?

We accept pets in private rooms only, at a supplement of €15/night.

TRANSPORT

How to get to Pilo Lyon by public transport ?

Don't worry, all roads lead to Pilo! From the Part Dieu train station: Exit the station on the Vivier Merle side. Take the C13 bus towards Montessuy Gutenberg (about 18 minutes - 7 stops). Get off at the Mairie du 1er stop. Continue on rue du Jardin des Plantes. You will arrive on the montée des Carmélites, (in front of colored stairs), it is then time to climb! Go straight up, until you reach our entrance😊 If the climb seems complicated you can also continue by bus to the Clos Jouve stop, then just take the rue des Chartreux (in front of you when you get off the bus) and go down to the Place Morel. Once you arrive at the square continue straight ahead and you will find our door on the right 😊 From Perrache Station :

Take the Metro A (red line) in the direction of Vaulx-en-Velin la Soie, get off at the Hôtel de Ville stop (About 5 minutes of travel - 4 stops) Take the C13 bus in the direction of Montessuy Gutenberg (About 5 minutes of travel - 2 stops) Get off at the Mairie du 1er stop. Continue on rue du Jardin des Plantes. You will arrive on the montée des Carmélites, (in front of colored stairs), it is then time to climb! Go straight up, until you reach our entrance😊 If the climb seems complicated you can also continue by bus to the Clos Jouve stop, then just take the rue des Chartreux (in front of you when you get off the bus) and go down to the Place Morel. Once you arrive at the square continue straight ahead and you will find our door on the right 😊 From Saint Exupéry Airport :

From the airport, go to the Saint Exupéry train station. Take the Rhônexpress (Ticketing online or at the terminal possible). Get off at Gare Part Dieu (about 29 minutes - 3 stops). Then cross the Part Dieu station and get out on the Vivier Merle side. Take the C13 bus towards Montessuy Gutenberg (about 18 minutes - 7 stops). Get off at the Mairie du 1er stop. Continue on rue du Jardin des Plantes. You will arrive on the montée des Carmélites, (in front of colored stairs) it is then time to climb! Go straight up, until you reach our entrance😊

Do you have a parking lot?

Pilo Lyon is located in the heart of the city, so we do not have a parking lot. The closest and most convenient place to park is the Parking du Gros Cailloux, 3 minutes by car and 10 minutes by foot from the hotel. Information and rates: https://parking.lpa.fr/parkings/gros-caillou/

Do you have a bike room?

We do not have a dedicated bike area, but public bike areas are available around the hotel. You also have the possibility of secure bicycle parking. The nearest is the Parking Saint Antoine, 6 minutes by bike and 13 minutes by foot from the hotel. Information and rates: https://parking.lpa.fr/parkings/saint-antoine/

Do you have smoking rooms?

For the comfort of all, our hotel is non-smoking. Any cigarette lit in the hotel will be charged 250€. An outdoor area is available for smokers, except in the month of November because it is the month without tobacco 😉

Are your rooms soundproof?

We have put in place all the solutions to soundproof the rooms in an optimal way. We make sure that our customers also respect the peace and quiet within the establishment.

FOOD & DRINK & FUN

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served between 7:00 and 10:30 am. Two formulas are proposed: The Frenchie - 7€ : A pastry, a seasonal juice, a hot drink

The Breakfast Club - 15€ : A pastry, an Egg Muffin, a seasonal juice, a hot drink

Is there a shared kitchen?

Yes, the Guest Kitchen is available to customers from 6:00 am to midnight, and the Pilo Team is ready to discover your culinary talents!

Do you have a restaurant?

As a self-respecting bon vivant, Pilo Lyon offers catering throughout the day. Small or big hunger, you choose! Open from 7am to 10:30pm, every day! And for night-time cravings, cold snacks are available at the reception.

Do you have a bar?

Coffee, tea, craft beers, natural wines or cocktails, Pilo Lyon's bar is full and ready to welcome you! Open for all the moments of the day and the week, from 7:00 am to midnight!

Are there any events organized in your establishment?

Pilo Lyon is a hotel, a bar, a restaurant but it is above all a place of life! So we have a great program of events to come, follow us so you don't miss anything when you come!

Do you have any good addresses for my stay in Lyon?

All the Team Pilo is full of good addresses and good advice, do not hesitate to come and ask at the reception, but also at the bar or the waiters 😉

SERVICES

Does the hotel have a luggage room?

A luggage room with connected lockers is available to store your luggage before your check-in and after your check-out

Is it possible to add a baby bed in the rooms?

It is possible to add a baby bed, free of charge, in the private rooms.

Thank you for specifying this when booking so that the cosy nest will be ready on your arrival 😊

Is laundry provided?

Bed linen and towels are provided in all our private rooms. For the dormitories, the bed linen is provided but the bath towels can be rented (4€ when booking online, 5€ on site)

Are there any hair dryers?

All bathrooms in private rooms are equipped with hair dryers. For the dormitories, you can borrow a hair dryer at the reception.

Are the bathrooms (private and shared) equipped with shower gel and shampoo?

Shower gel/shampoo dispensers are available to guests in all rooms but also in the shared bathrooms of the dormitories!

Is there a laundry?

A washing machine and a dryer are available for customers. Count 3,5€ to wash and 2€ to dry, the laundry, as for it, is free! You can also ask at the reception for an ironing board and iron.

Do you have WIFI?

Free and unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi connection for hotel guests, available throughout the hotel.

Does the hotel have an elevator?

An elevator is available from the ground floor to the 6th floor.

Some dormitories are located on the 7th floor, so they require a last effort on foot, but the view on Fourvière is incredible!

Is the hotel air conditioned?

All rooms and dormitories, as well as common areas, are air-conditioned

Where can I store my things in a shared dorm?

All dormitories are equipped with free lockers. You can bring your own lock or buy one at the reception for 5€.

ROOMS & DORMITORIES

Are your establishments adapted for people with reduced mobility?

Our hotel includes rooms designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility. In the same way, all the spaces open to the public as well as their equipment are accessible to them.

Do you have family rooms?

Our family rooms can accommodate 4 people, with a double king size bed and a bunk bed. Now it's time to find out who will sleep upstairs!

Do you have private rooms with two single beds?

All our standard double rooms can be converted into a Twin, just let us know when you make your reservation.

How many people can your dormitories accommodate?

We have several categories of dormitories, from the smallest, 4 beds, to the largest 18 beds, including 8, 9, 10, 14 or 16 beds! In all our dormitories, you will sleep in a capsule bed, a real cocoon developed by our designers to guarantee your comfort and privacy.

Are all your dorms co-ed?

A majority of our dormitories are co-ed, but we also have women-only dormitories.

From what age can we sleep in a dormitory?

The dormitories are accessible from 16 years old, you just need an authorization from your legal guardian and a copy of his ID!

Are children accepted in the dormitories?

Families with children under 16 or groups with minors will not be able to share the dormitory, they can however privatize it or choose our double and/or family rooms😊
